I definitely identified with Kennedy. Her flashbacks gave me flashbacks to my own past. The sex scenes were crazy. What can happen with food is amazing. I am still blushing over it.

I loved this book. This book can be read as a standalone, but the previous books would help with the history of some of the characters featured. I have read all of the Marriage to a Billionaire series and I am thrilled to see that the "Searching" series allows us to revisit characters from the previous series and connect them.

Nate Dunkle appeals to me because Jennifer Probst has written my fantasy of a perfect guy - great intelligence, sense of humor, alpha possessiveness, physically attractive under the guise of geek, and undiscovered. Hasn't everyone imagined making over a hunky geek? Or is it just me? Nate's sweet character and social awkwardness is so appealing, I smiled throughout this whole book.

Kennedy is his perfect mate. By looking at her the perfectly polished and beautiful professionalone would not suspect her trouble she bears underneath the surface. Nate and Kennedy share that same struggle and it is fun watching the drama unfold. I could say that Ms.

Probst writes likable characters, but there is more than that. They are likable and normal in the same way that Jimmy Stewart characters are appealing - grounded and honorable. Although I read this book in e-format, I may got out and get myself a paperback copy just so I can have Nate on my self. She is a master at her craft, on my auto-buy list, and top favorite authors list. Each story from her Marriage to a Billionaire Series, as well as her Searching For Series can be read as a stand alone.

Kate handles the financial aspect, Kennedy handles the social events and makeovers, and Arilyn handles the counseling aspect. There is also a bit of a magical element in these stories that I absolutely love. They make me think of soulmates and fate, when it comes to love. One such aspect is that Kate is able to recognize if two people belong together by touching both people at the same time. If she experiences an electrical shock, then they are meant to be.

This is a gift that has been passed down from the women in Kate's family, and nobody knows about it except Kennedy and Arilyn. Another magical element is that there is a love spell book floating around, and it seems that whenever this spell is performed, whoever completes it, ends up finding their soulmate.

The girls often chalk it up to coincidence, but I am a romantic at heart, and love the idea behind the mystical, and that which cannot always be explained. In Searching for Perfect, we get to know Kennedy.
